I’ve been mentally preparing myself for cold rainy autumn days and instead I get warm end-of-the-summer days but still I wear my wrist worms, though my hands sweat and look funny with them.

Another autumn-winterish preparation is that me and Meli bought wine so we can make mulled wine. We now have 6L of wine and no autumn-winter weather so that we can enjoy it. But, alas, here I am, with a huge cup of mulled wine, getting tipsy only from the smell Yes, I must agree, the cold season has its pluses as well

I am so happy I’m sociable again and I feel the need to see old friends. In fact, I can hardly wait to go out with them, regardless of how much I have to work, how busy my uni schedule is. No more excuses, I’m back for good this time

I’ve learned that ‘tandem’ doesn’t only refer to bicycles, but also to learning foreign languages in 2. So, starting this Wednesday, I’m going to be ‘tandeming’ Romanian-German with Maike. Yes, yes, I could do that with Meli as well, but I’m ashamed of talking German with her when she refuses to believe that my German sucks, sucks, sucks.

Of course, I’m mean and egotistic and instead of actually thinking about it, I prefer to say ‘no’. Then, taking into consideration all the options and possibilities, I say ‘yes’. Like always, it’s too late, I’ve upset a dear person again, apologies won’t do much good, I try not to think about it, end up thinking only about that, getting angry at myself for not saying ‘yes’ in the first place, hoping in the end I will be forgiven. I’m sorry!

Hope it doesn’t bother you that I read while taking the tube, but when we don’t talk, it’s so damn annoying having nothing to do.

On Saturday we went on ‘Peliscani’, they took pictures, I complained a lot, bought tea, was bitchy, ate ‘pampanasi’, was so exhausted that I kept saying only stupid things and laughing out loud for no apparent reason. Actually, I haven’t had such a great day since like forever.

No matter how horribly strange my soup looked like, they still ate it and they’re still alive

Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy, tomorrow I’m receiving a package from home, with all the things my parents bought for me on their trip abroad + some other goodies that I can only find in BM. Spoiled? Definitely

I am so going to spend all my money in the Hundertwasser souvenir shop in Vienna! ^_^

I’d better not blog anymore, I’m starting to get tipsy

I had an amazing day today! Green sent me the wrist worms she made for me - omG, I love you, I love them! OmG, I have wrist worms!!!

Then I spent all my afternoon in teahouses and worked/read and then I went wandering around Calea Victoriei and saw, again, so many beautiful houses. I so love my Bucharest, wouldn’t want to live anywhere else! And after that looong stroll I went to this really funny play with Meli and Pia.

Now I’m really exhausted and I should get to bed cause tomorrow I have to be up at 8 - it’s my first day back at uni, but I’m not actually looking forward to that

While some of us are road-tripping and, I’m sure, will have one hell of a Saturday, I’m staying at home cooking, cleaning and working. Not my idea of fun, but alas!

After I’ve stacked my fridge with chocolate and Kinder Milch-Schinitte - I declare my obsession for it official - I can let myself get carried away by the obscenely delicious combination of chocolate and Sangria.

This is what I call a guilty pleasure!

Pfff is my new favourite interjection. I use it whenever I can’t find the right words to describe what I’m feeling. This weekend was simply pfff! Pfff in a good way, of course.

It was Thursday noon and there I was, doing something I swore I was never going to do. I spent 6h crammed on the seat of a bus, going to see old friends, a town I feel in love with *yeah, yeah, I know, that stuff happens to me all the time* and a special someone.

The butterflies were present throughout the entire weekend, the bastards didn’t leave me alone, not even for a second. Everything was so normal, so ‘it’s supposed to be this way’. In fact, it was so damn right, that it got quite scary.

I hadn’t been out drinking for ages and there we were, drinking Bloody Marys like there was no tomorrow. I hadn’t had dinner with a he for ages and there we were, enjoying our meal, laughing and talking like we had done that every single day for I don’t know how long. I hadn’t went out with a he, doing stuff, and there we were, strolling through town, taking pictures, visiting a photo exposition.

And she was great friend, letting me stay at her place, waiting for me to come home from town, listening to my enthusiastic blabbering. We spent the nights talking and drinking , an afternoon shopping for sweets, popcorn, earphones, books, a morning at the hairdresser’s and another afternoon walking around the town.

I’m sorry that Mum didn’t understand that it was more important the way I felt there than the time I spent on the road. She got quite annoyed when she heard that the train had a 1h and a half delay, as if it was my fault. I don’t even want to think about the day I’ll have to tell her I’ll be going there more often than she imagines.

It was great seeing the Kid again, talking to Inner, visiting D.’s apartment, watching a movie with the trio and simply smiling all the time. Good times are coming, I’m sure of that
